As you all know by now, I’m sure, tomorrow at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern, Apple is holding a media event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Following last month’s iPhone 5s / 5c event, expectations are high for new iPads this go-around. A slimmer, lighter “mini-styled” 5th generation iPad, and a potentially-Retina 2nd generation iPad mini are expected by most observers. And most also expect a release announcement for the latest version of Mac OS X, “Mavericks”, as well as more info on release date and price for the new Mac Pro.

And there are also likely to be a lot of software updates for apps like iBooks, iMovie, iPhoto, Garageband, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote on iOS and likely on Mac as well. Plus with the Mac Pro and Mavericks on deck, updates to Apple’s pro apps like Final Cut Pro X and Aperture are wished for by many Mac users.
