Well, everyone else has reported it by now, but yes, Apple yesterday sent out its official invites for an event to be held Wednesday, September 9, 2015.  Gee, I wonder what that will be about…. Naw, I have a pretty good idea, as does anyone who pays attention – new iPhones are coming.  Oh, and maybe a new Apple TV box too.  And as it has the last few times it’s made annoucements or held big events, Apple will be live-streaming the event on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, starting at 10am Pacfic Time, 1:00pm Eastern Time.

And no, I didn’t get one of the invites.  Thank goodness for the streaming.
